Christmas Reception at the Chargé d’Affaires Residence
Members of the IUSA, invited guests, colleagues and friends gathered in the residence on Mespil Road on December 11th for some festive cheer and to mark. President of the IUSA, Paul O’ Connor welcomed and addressed those present before the Chargé d’Affaires spoke to those gathered. The IUSA is not yet three years in existence and O’ Connor reflected on the progress and the achievements of the association to date, as well as the challenges that lay ahead. “As an Association, the IUSA is committed to making the talent, skill, leadership and experience of its alumni available so as to make a positive and ongoing contribution to Ireland and the wider Ireland/United States relationships”. O’ Connor encouraged members to encourage other alumni to engage and participate and thanked the staff of the Embassy, in particular Susan Cleary, Angie Smith and Katie Keogh for their support.
