Conference
We were delighted to welcome some incredible speakers at our conference this year. Our conference was opened by President Emeritus Kate Acheson before moving on to our panel discussion. Our MC Brenda Power chaired Dr. Orna Young, Dr. Brian Mac Craith and Rory Montgomery in discussions relating to misinformation, role of U.S. and Irish relations and the future of media.
Dinner & Awards
The dinner and awards were opened by the incoming IUSA President Chris MM Gordon. Some 100 guests joined us for dinner in the Grafton Suite for the celebrations. A short speech was given by Angela Gjertson Public Affairs Officer in the U.S. Embassy Dublin.
