Michael Sheehan studied Political Science in State Uni of NY and has a Masters in Economics from UCD.Having worked for a US Member of Congress, he was elected to New Ross Town Council in 1999 and Wexford County Council in 2009, topping the Town poll.He is currently Chairman of JFK50 Celebrations that are being planned for 2013 and has been in regular contact with the Irish Institute since participating on Inclusive Politics in ’09. If elected as Director, Michael will work tirelessly to expandthe aims, awarness of and the goals of the Associations and further develop the close relationshup between Ireland and the USA.
