Ms. Katie Hannon

Katie Hannon presents RTE’s Upfront with Katie Hannon television current affairs show and podcast as well as regularly standing in as presenter of Liveline on RTE Radio 1. She previously presented The Late Debate and Saturday with Katie Hannon, having worked as a general reporter and political correspondent with RTE’s Prime Time for 14 years. She has won numerous awards including the Mary Cummins Award for Outstanding Journalism for her work on the Maurice McCabe garda whistleblower story and was named Tatler Woman of the Year in Media for exposing the Women of Honour scandal. Earlier in her career she wrote for the Evening Herald, the Irish Examiner and Ireland on Sunday. Her bestselling book on Irish political culture, The Naked Politician, was published in 2004.
